With fresh contract negotiations scheduled, a number of Premier League teams may be disappointed in their pursuit of Morgan Gibbs-White.
A number of Premier League teams may suffer a serious setback in their attempts to sign Morgan Gibbs-White because Nottingham Forest is willing to offer him a new contract, according to Football Insider. The 24-year-old midfielder is deserving of appreciation because he has been a bright spot for the team lately.

New Nottingham Forest deal for Morgan Gibbs-White

For the original £35 million Nottingham Forest paid Wolves to recruit Morgan Gibbs-White, he has shown his value. The 24-year-old midfielder for the Premier League has been crucial to the team’s ability to survive relegation struggles. They have now achieved a balance under Nuno Espirito-Santo and will take on new challenges.

Due in large part to their perfect start to the current campaign, Gibbs-White was finally called up to the England squad by Lee Carsley. The 24-year-old became the first Nottingham Forst player to play for the England side this century when he made his debut against Ireland.

As things stand, the team is aware of his contribution to the side. They will be pleased that, in spite of strong interest from abroad, they were able to retain him for the summer. Earlier on, Tottenham had also made an impression, as had Newcastle United. But, in order to acknowledge the 24-year-old’s significance, Forest now plans to offer him a lucrative new contract, and they are optimistic he will accept it.

If Gibbs-White commits to a crucial agreement offered by Forest, it will be a setback for other Premier League teams who were hoping to recruit him. Among those are undoubtedly Tottenham and Newcastle United, with Manchester City also expressing interest recently.

Will Gibbs-White stay at Nottingham Forest?

There’s still a chance that Gibbs-White will decide not to commit to a new contract and move on in light of the current rumors that Manchester City is after him. Nonetheless, given his bond with Forest, it’s possible that the midfield player will sign a new contract and stay connected to the team.

As things stand, the club is optimistic because they know the player will make a strong effort to depart. Furthermore, he could believe that the chance of becoming as Forest’s main player in the future surpasses the danger of playing inconsistently for one of the teams, particularly Man City.
