The Raiders are now officially 1-1 after Antonio Pierce led an incredible comeback against the very skilled Baltimore Ravens on the road. Fortunately for Vegas, despite a rough start to the season, things tend to pick up a little bit from here.
The Carolina Panthers, who have been outscored 73-13 in their opening two weeks, will be the team’s next opponent. The situation has become so bad that veteran Andy Dalton, who will start against this revamped Raiders defense, has already replaced former No. 1 selection Bryce Young on the bench.

It’s strange to refer to a Las Vegas club that just pulled off an electrifying upset victory as a “get-right” match, but the Raiders may utilize the Panthers to address some of their most pressing weaknesses. The offensive line’s run-blocking and running game are the main causes for worry.
Given that the Panthers’ current depth is lacking and Derrick Brown is expected to miss the remainder of the season, the Raiders may take this as a chance to establish Zamir White and Alexander Mattison.
