Supporters of Newcastle United are thrilled to see a little but beneficial improvement done to one of St. James’ Park’s oldest sections.

During the interval between home and away games, Newcastle United made a minor alteration to the East Stand. Ground staff replaced a portion of the 1973-built stand with an Adidas logo that is now emblazoned across the center of the seating. This season, the East Stand section of the stadium has already made news due to a dispute over a wooden barrier that was installed outside St. James’ Park, which infuriated the team and the supporters due to safety concerns.
