ast week, the Friedkin Group agreed a deal to become the new custodians at Everton and they’re currently waiting for regulator approval to complete the takeover. Two days later, Corriere dello Sport reported the Friedkin Group have identified Maurizio Sarri as the candidate to replace Sean Dyche. It was also stated they are ready to back the Italian in the winter market. This claim is now backed up by InterLive.it, who provide more updates on Sarri’s plans for Everton.

Ever since he left Lazio earlier this year, the former manager of Chelsea has been without employment. The management at Goodison Park would change under the new Toffees owners.
With six games played, Everton has four points, placing them 16th in the league, one point ahead of 18th-place Crystal Palace. It appears that Dyche’s long-term status with the team is unknown.

InterLive. It says that Sarri is the Friedkin Group’s “first name” and that they would accede to his signing wishes in January.

Everton is reportedly targeting Piotr Zieliński of Inter Milan, according to reports that the Italian has identified. The 30-year-old is well-known to the boss from his time at Napoli, having joined Inter on a free transfer from Naples in the summer after being a Poland international.

This season, Zieliński has only played in three league games, totaling 55 minutes. The source suggests that if Everton makes a bid to sign him in January, they may succeed because of his limited role.
