According to The Athletic, Tottenham and Amanda Staveley might have non-disclosure agreements regarding the latter’s bid to purchase a minority stake in the team. Three months have passed since Bloomberg (July 18) revealed that Staveley is thinking of investing in Spurs after leaving Newcastle and raising £500 million in funding.
Since then, there has been discussion about the British financier’s arrival at Tottenham, which gained more attention after she was seen at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 13 for the NFL game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears. Although supporters and commentators have conjectured that a takeover may be imminent, there has been no official announcement, and Tottenham and Staveley have remained reticent. According to The Athletic’s website on Wednesday, October 23, sources have alluded to the existence of non-disclosures between the parties involved, but there is also some doubt about Staveley’s interest.
