Despite a rough tenure with the Atlanta Falcons, quarterback Desmond Ridder is receiving another opportunity in Las Vegas. Ridder struggled in Atlanta, leading to a lost season due to his turnovers and missed throws, and it was clear he was frustrated by the outcome.

After failing to secure a spot on the Arizona Cardinals’ roster and landing on their practice squad, Ridder’s career seemed in jeopardy. However, he was picked up by the Raiders after they faced injuries to their quarterbacks, including Aidan O’Connell and an underperforming Gardner Minshew.

Ridder’s prior starting experience makes him a potential option, but his past performance raises concerns about his ability to read defenses and make quick decisions. This could be a crucial opportunity for Ridder to prove himself as a viable backup. With this being his third team in three years, there’s hope that he can finally find his footing in the league.
