Amanda Staveley is now in the news for Newcastle United.
This is in spite of having left the team in July 2024.
This time, Amanda Staveley made news because of WhatsApp exchanges that were leaked more than three years ago.
These confidential discussions were related to attempting to finalise the takeover of Newcastle United, which the Premier League ultimately approved on October 7, 2021.
“I think we can all guess who is behind the leaking of these WhatsApp messages, seemingly leaked to cause problems for the current owners of Newcastle United,” as my article (see below) from four days ago revealed.
The identities of the people with whom Amanda Staveley had these leaked WhatsApp talks are now known.
According to the Mail, they recognise that she was speaking with Justin Barnes, who was and still is Mike Ashley’s right-hand man.
According to the Mail, they are unable to determine who leaked these Amanda Staveley WhatsApp conversations or why they were disclosed.
However, as I mentioned four days ago, it is safe to say that we will all be pointing at the most likely culprit.
Amanda Staveley expressed her disappointment and anger about the leak of these private messages to a newspaper. Extremely disgusting actions from “whoever” that individual was.

When Mike Ashley sold Newcastle United to a group headed by the Saudi Arabia PIF in 2021, the Premier League approved the takeover. Amanda Staveley and the Reuben family were also involved.
Finally, Mike Ashley left on October 7, 2021.
In recent days, the Newcastle United takeover has once again gained attention.
According to some, Amanda Staveley’s leaked WhatsApp communications “proved” Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman “controlled the deal.”
We can all probably guess who leaked these WhatsApp texts, which were apparently done to hurt Newcastle United’s present owners.
The Premier League will not, however, re-examine the legality of Newcastle United’s Saudi Arabia PIF-led takeover in light of recent allegations regarding Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s involvement, according to The Mail.
