Josh Addo-Carr’s family has voiced their disappointment with the Bulldogs regarding the club’s handling of his recent issues, highlighting a lack of support during a challenging time. They believe that despite Addo-Carr’s dedication and contributions to the team, the Bulldogs have not stood by him when he needed help the most.
A family spokesperson stated, “They can’t even support my son when he stood and fought for them,” expressing their frustration with the club’s management of the situation. They labeled the club’s actions as unprofessional, stressing that Addo-Carr has been a loyal and skilled player.
The family condemned the club’s consideration to terminate Addo-Carr’s contract, arguing that the Bulldogs have not adequately recognized his unique contributions, asserting, “The Bulldogs aren’t worthy of keeping my son. He is far more special than the club.”
The Bulldogs issued a show cause notice to Addo-Carr following allegations related to a positive roadside drug test, putting his future at the club in jeopardy. Nevertheless, his family firmly believes he deserves better treatment and respect for all he has done for the team, regardless of recent difficulties.
