Heading into Week 10, the Atlanta Falcons could benefit from adding some experienced free agents to bolster their roster. Two notable names they should consider are Julio Jones and Frank Clark.
1. Julio Jones: Despite no longer being the player he once was, bringing back Jones could make sense for Atlanta. With the Falcons’ current receiver depth relying on KhaDarel Hodge and Casey Washington, Jones could fill the 5th or 6th receiver role and provide veteran leadership. Given Drake London’s recent injury and Atlanta’s lack of proven depth at wide receiver, it might be worth reaching out to the veteran to potentially finish his career with the team that helped define it.
2. Frank Clark: Although the Falcons showed some improvement in pass rush against Dallas, they still need more depth in this area. Clark, a seasoned playoff performer, could provide valuable support to Atlanta’s young edge rushers. While he might not have a major immediate impact, his experience could strengthen the rotation and improve overall depth—an area where the Falcons have struggled. Given the current state of the team, the Falcons should be open to exploring both trades and free-agent signings to boost their roster.
