According to The Athletic, the Friedkin Group has made settling on Everton’s organisational structure and fortifying the board of directors their top priorities.
According to the news outlet [November 8], filling the leadership void at the club’s top will be the news owners’ first priority.
TFG has recruited the aid of Nolan Partners, a well-known sports executive recruitment firm, in their search for a new CEO for the Toffees. Fulham’s Alistair Mackintosh and former Roma CEO Lina Souloukou have already been contacted.
Everton need a revamp under the Friedkin Group
The Friendkins’ arrival will mark the beginning of a new era for the Blues, who are scheduled to relocate to Bramley-Moore Dock at the beginning of the upcoming season.
Farhad Moshiri’s return will be welcomed by the Goodison supporters, although Everton is currently in limbo due to a number of concurrent events.
The fact that the new owners have already begun planning for once the takeover is ended is positive.
Under Moshiri, the Toffees have had a few erratic years due to a number of managerial changes and subpar hiring.
Due to all of that, the Blues are currently in a difficult situation, and Sean Dyche has had to save the team from relegation in the previous two seasons.
With the team now ranked 16th in the league table ahead of the November international breaks, the English manager is having difficulty getting the most out of the players at his disposal.
It will be intriguing to watch what TFG decides to do with the managerial issue once they get to Goodison, aside from figuring out the structure at the top.
