There is a lot of enthusiasm surrounding Everton as they prepare to enter a new era under a new owner.
The Friedkin Group has already committed to purchasing Farhad Moshiri’s 94% share in the Merseyside team and is awaiting complete control from the Premier League.
Everything is proceeding according to plan, and the Toffees should be turned over to the USA owners by the middle of December.
In addition to anticipating significant changes at the club, Everton supporters will primarily hope that the manager will have the money necessary to acquire top players during the transfer window.
A number of backstage members may be shocked by the Friedkins’ apparent strong behind-the-scenes choices.
What Friedkin Group have decided to do at Everton
Journalist Alan Nixon claims that the new owners are “prepared to shock” a number of Everton backroom employees by requesting that they reapply for their positions.
Even if Sean Dyche leads the Toffees to Premier League safety, his job is far from certain because he has a contract at Goodison Park till the end of the season.
Once they have complete control, the potential owners will assess his position. Additionally, in order to keep their positions at the club, Kevin Thelwell, the head of football, and other top scouts must “go through a process.”
Nixon wrote: “Everton’s new owners are prepared to surprise a number of backroom employees by requesting that they reapply for their positions.
“Boss Sean Dyche is not alone, but his contract expires in the summer and will be evaluated when the Americans arrive.
Kevin Thelwell, the head of football, and other top scouts will also go through a process to determine if they stay in their positions.
Major decision from the incoming owners
Considering the circumstances in which he has worked over the past few years, Dyche has performed admirably at Everton.
If the results don’t improve, the Friedkins are unlikely to stay with the Toffees manager, but they must give him the time and support he needs before deciding on his future.
Since the Friedkins fired a number of managers at AS Roma, we have already seen that they are not afraid to do so.
