The New York Giants made changes to their game-day roster before of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. Lawrence Cager (groin) has been placed on injured reserve by the Giants. Cager was listed as questionable on the team’s last injury report. Darrian Beavers, who had spent the majority of the season on the team’s practice squad, was signed to fill Cager’s roster slot. Beaver, a sixth-round pick out of Cincinnati in 2022, missed his rookie season due to an ACL tear. This summer, he pushed for a roster place with fellow second-year guy Micah McFadden, but Beavers ended up on the practice squad as McFadden went on to gain a starting role with Bobby Okereke.

On Sunday, the New York Giants will play the Los Angeles Rams at MetLife Stadium. The game will begin at 1 p.m. ET.
