Marshawn Lynch, Mike Tomlin Shared Heartwarming Moment Ahead of Steelers'  Game

The Pittsburgh Steelers were in the Pacific Northwest on New Year’s Eve, and in Week 17, they defeated the Seattle Seahawks on the road in a crucial victory. Marshawn Lynch, the former Seahawks Super Bowl champion, stopped by coach Mike Tomlin on the Lumen Field sidelines before kickoff. In a touching conversation that took place prior to kickoff, the head coach of the Steelers informed Lynch that a jersey that the running back had given to Tomlin’s son ten years prior was still hanging in his room.

Lynch seems sincere in his admiration for the gifted jersey’s continued display on the Tomlin family wall. In addition to spending the weekend in Seattle, the former running back attended the NHL Winter Classic and helped introduce the Seattle Kraken on Monday. Throughout his NFL career and even in retirement, the 37-year-old was a fan favorite. During his 13-year professional career, he appeared in 149 games and scored 85 touchdowns on the ground.
