While the Gators missed out on postseason play this season for the first time since 2017, a handful of Florida’s signees are set to participate in bowl games for all-star prospects from the recruiting class of 2024 this week.
Four future Gators will take part in the Under Armour All-America Game on Wednesday: Quarterback DJ Lagway, linebackers Myles Graham and Aaron Chiles, and preferred walk-on kicker/punter Bobby Engstler.
The Under Armour All-America Game, taking place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla., will kick off at 4 p.m. ET this afternoon. It will air on ESPN and can be streamed via ESPN+.
Lagway (jersey No. 2), Graham (No. 15) and Chiles (No. 6) will align on the same squad, Team Fire, while Engstler No. 38) will punt for Team Ice.
Florida head coach Billy Napier shared his excitement to watch the future Gators in action via social media on Wednesday.
Lagway, Graham and Chiles are considered to be among the cornerstone acquisitions of Florida’s 2024 recruiting class, each regarded as consensus top-100 overall prospects and top-eight players at their respective positions in the cycle. Lagway and Graham are expected to enroll at UF for the spring semester.
Lagway is one of two five-star recruits signed by UF in the class of 2024, alongside defensive lineman LJ McCray, who will participate in the Adidas All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, Jan. 6.
