Joe Burrow makes statement about Joe Brady after ……Joe Burrow makes statement about Joe Brady after Bills name him interim OC that Buffalo fans will love - A to Z Sports

On Tuesday, the  Buffalo Bills fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and promoted quarterbacks coach Joe Brady to interim offensive coordinator.

Brady is a coach that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is intimately familiar with.

During Burrow’s magical 2019 season at LSU, Brady was the Tigers’ passing game coordinator after being hired away from the New Orleans Saints (where he was an offensive assistant). And he played a critical role in designing LSU’s historically productive offense in 2019.

Burrow was asked on Tuesday about the Bills’ decision to promote Brady.

And the Bengals quarterback gave Brady a nice endorsement, while pointing out one of his biggest assets as a coach.

“Joe’s awesome, Joe’s very creative,” said Burrow. “He always has something for a certain look that you’re seeing on tape to take advantage of that. It’s a big opportunity for him, I’m excited for him. He helped me a lot. He helped me become the player I am today. Nothing but love for Joe.”

Brady was known as a “situational master” during his time at LSU (and previous to that with the Saints), so it’s not a surprise to hear those comments from Burrow.

If Brady found that much success with Burrow in Baton Rouge, then Bills fans should feel pretty confident that he’ll be able to help turn quarterback Josh Allen’s season around, along with the rest of Buffalo’s offense, before the AFC East division race is out of reach.
