At the end of the current campaign, Arsenal is interested in signing Brazilian striker Marcos Leonardo.

TBR Football claims that although Arsenal was interested in signing him in January, the midfielder ultimately chose to sign with Benfica. It is unclear if the Gunners would make a formal offer for the 21-year-old at the end of the season, but they are still anxious to get his signature.
The player has garnered the admiration of Arsenal sporting director Edu, who has been closely monitoring his development. The 21-year-old is well-regarded around Europe and has scored seven goals in his first 14 league games for the Portuguese team.

Leonardo is capable of playing for the top teams in the world soon, and Arsenal will be trying to sign him.

Marcos Leonardo has the potential to become a future star.

It’s no secret that Arsenal needs a consistent goal scorer, and Leonardo would be a wise long-term investment. Gabriel Jesus will not be able to support the Gunners next season. Just four goals have been scored by the Brazilian in the league, so if Arsenal want to contend for big prizes, they will need to upgrade.
Leonardo may need some time to mature into a premier league striker of the highest caliber because he is still fairly young, however

he has the attributes to develop into a future star and he would be a superb investment for the North London club.

Negotiations with Benfica can be challenging, and the Portuguese team may be reluctant to let him go after just six months of play. If Arsenal hopes to persuade Benfica to let go of the player this summer, they will need to offer more money. It will be interesting to watch how things work out in the end.
