According to The Guardian, Everton may decide to sell four first-team players in order to raise money this summer and prevent Jarrad Branthwaite from leaving.

After turning down a second bid from Manchester United for “outstanding” center-back Branthwaite, Kevin Thelwell may approve the departures of star players Amadou Onana and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, as well as squad options Michael Keane and Neal Maupay, during the transfer window, according to the paper’s website on July 9.

No bids have apparently been received for any of the four, however The Times (June 14) has stated that repeated offers have been made for Onana, while The Times (June 24) claims that Newcastle has previously made an offer for Calvert-Lewin.

The two well-known players are anticipated to depart this summer, and according to reports, the Englishman has turned down a contract extension offer [TEAMtalk, July 9].

Neal Maupay and Michael Keane might depart Everton
After minimal recruitment over the previous few windows, Sean Dyche’s team was far from bloated when the previous season ended, so any departures this summer will require replacements.

If given the option, the manager would definitely keep Calvert-Lewin, but the club will probably have to make a sacrifice because of his contract situation Onana has the ability to lead a team, but he rarely appears to be as special in Dyche’s lineup as he does for Belgium, so it makes sense to cash in on him while a fair transfer fee is still achievable.
