Bryan King has urged Everton to finalise a takeover agreement at Goodison Park.
The former scout for Goodison is optimistic that the Friedkin Group can acquire the team as soon as possible.
According to what Alan Nixon posted on his Patreon account on July 15, Dan Friedkin is willing to give George Downing and Andy Bell a share in Everton.
According to this most recent takeover development, Freidkin wants the two businessmen who support Everton to be a part of the club’s new aesthetic.
Speaking only to Goodison News, King also thinks that fans will be happy to see the club’s existing owners go on.
“It isn’t long until the season starts again, around a month away now. Therefore, that takeover needs to go through soon,” King said.
“It will be good to get the deal done, it would be a wonderful boost and a relief for everybody at the club.”
“For supporters in particular, they will just be relieved to get rid of the current board.”
Dan Friedkin to complete a takeover of Everton at Goodison Park?
Goodison Park supporters will be fervently hoping for a takeover to succeed.
They need to exercise patience, though. This information will be welcomed, even if some fans may be concerned about how long it has taken the Friedkin Group to move forward with their takeover.
Friedkin appears to still be very much intending to buy the Toffees, as seen by his desire to include Downing and Bell, suggesting that the deal is still moving forward.
Additionally, the fact that Friedkin is eager to add two persons who understand what it means to be an Everton supporter shows that he has the club’s best interests at heart.
