Newcastle United is set to create a new worldwide streaming service, according to a fresh story that surfaced on Thursday.
TVB Europe is the source of the report (see below).
They claim that it is based on the Vesper platform from Endeavor Streaming.
The official NUFC iOS and Android applications as well as the NewcastleUnited.com website offer the service, according to TVB Europe.
I predict that Newcastle United will make an official statement shortly.
Since I haven’t seen any formal releases of information on this.
As of right now, the only information available about this international streaming service is what Newcastle United posted on their official social media accounts yesterday, Wednesday, July 24:
English Premier League football club Newcastle United has launched a global streaming service, built on Endeavor Streaming’s Vesper platform.
The service is also available via the NewcastleUnited.com website and the official NUFC iOS and Android apps.
It offers live coverage of the club’s upcoming pre-season friendlies as well as player interviews, highlights, full match replays and original documentaries.
Endeavor Streaming’s Vesper platform is a complete end-to-end streaming solution that enables leagues, rightsholders and media properties to build upon and deliver memorable direct-to-consumer streaming experiences for their fans, said the company.
Dan Ginger, director of brand, marketing and digital media at Newcastle United said: “The implementation of Endeavor Streaming is another step forward in our commitment to bringing fans closer to the club, providing an unparalleled digital experience, ensuring our supporters have seamless access to exclusive content and live matches. We are excited about the possibilities this collaboration brings and look forward to engaging with our global fanbase in new and dynamic ways.”
