John Textor has said that he wants to have a conversation with Sean Dyche about Everton’s future.

In order to purchase the Toffees, the American billionaire has entered an exclusive period with Farhad Moshiri. Textor has expressed confidence that a transaction may be finalized by the end of November [Sky Sports, 11 September].
Despite rumors that Textor is eager to switch things up in the dugout [Alan Nixon, September 8], the future Blues owner is adamant that he has no imminent plans to make changes to the coaching staff.

“I don’t know Sean [Dyche] personally, but I watched him for so many years at Burnley doing wonders with no budget, so obviously he’s a guy who knows how to coach in the Premier League,” he stated in an interview with Sky Sports News on September 11.

At some time in the future, I would ask him whether he would be interested in a totally different kind of player from anywhere in the globe when I sat down with him.

“I would ask him to take over as coach of this team. I appreciate that he purchased Jake O’Brien, a big, strong Irish boy, but does he prefer Luis Henrique or Igor Jesus, the forwards for Botafogo? Is coaching a profile like that what he wants to do?

Does he have a plan that would be effective for a team made of entirely of the finest players in the planet? That will come later, but I’m not changing anything about the coaching end of things.

Will John Textor sack Everton boss Sean Dyche at Goodison Park?

The Everton fan base is split on whether Dyche should be fired following the team’s dismal start to the season, despite certain parts of the crowd having grown weary of him and his direct style of play

Although the English manager’s team hasn’t performed well enough in terms of results or football thus far this season, few managers have more experience struggling at the bottom of the standings than him.

With just a year remaining on his Merseyside contract, it will be intriguing to see whether the former Burnley manager is even remotely interested in leading this new-look team that Textor has suggested.

Hopefully, by the time the American takeover is finalized and the season ends, more clarity will be provided on that. It doesn’t appear as though he will take Dyche out anytime soon, though, till then.
