In an effort to put more pressure on David Moyes before of Wednesday’s Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina, West Ham is reconsidering ending their partnership with the manager.

It’s believed that the club’s faith in Moyes’ ability to stay has declined since the Premier League season concluded, which is an indication of indecision. The Scot’s future may hinge on West Ham winning a major trophy for the first time in forty-three years, according to sources.

Even as recently as last week, there was speculation that Moyes would stay in his position after guiding West Ham to their first European final since 1976. The board expressed optimism following the team’s semifinal triumph over AZ Alkmaar. West Ham triumphed in their fight against relegation as well.

While a final decision is still pending, West Ham is considering possible substitutes. If West Ham defeated Fiorentina in Prague, it is believed that nothing could alter. While a loss would not necessarily result in Moyes’s dismissal, it would alter the tone of the campaign.

Despite spending over £160 million last summer, West Ham, who have had Brendan Rodgers, Graham Potter, Paulo Fonseca, and at least one anonymous manager under consideration, had a dismal league campaign, finishing 14th.
