Giant receive a sad news one among the new york key player get an injury….
According to a recent report, Barkley did appear to have a high ankle sprain, albeit not as severe as it may have been.
Saquon Barkley, a running back for the New York Giants, first reported having a sprained ankle, not the dreaded high ankle variety.
Though it’s not as bad as it could have been, Barkley admitted to having a high ankle sprain to Taylor Rooks of NFL on Prime.
Nevertheless, given Barkley’s history with the issue, the news of his high ankle sprain is a little concerning. He missed four games the last time he suffered an injury of this kind. Barkley was never quite himself in his first few games after returning, which raised questions about whether he returned to the field before he was ready.
According to early estimates, Barkley’s most recent injury might keep him out of action for up to three weeks—not games. There was some hope Barkley might be ready for the Giants’ Monday night game against the Seattle Seahawks on October 2, especially because the team has an 11-day break before playing their next game after their Thursday night matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.
But the Miami game on October 8 was always a more feasible goal, bringing the schedule down to about three weeks.
In the end, Barkley’s recovery is what matters most. He is now using a modified one-year franchise tag. With until Thursday of next week to go before the Giants must submit any injury reports, Barkley will have plenty of time to get well.
