This is the first-ever Monday Night Football flex.” The Eagles will now play three straight stand-alone games in Weeks 14–16: Week 14: on SNF in Dallas Week 15: on MNF in Seattle Week 16: Christmas Day Giants game.”
November 29 THE NFL HONORED JAKE ELLIOTT The league is honoring Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott for his performance against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
With just seconds remaining in Sunday’s victory over the Bills, Elliott made a game-tying 59-yard field goal in the pouring rain.
This season, Elliott has made 90.5% of his field goals attempts.
November 27 BARNETT DEREK SAID The Houston Texans claimed former Philadelphia Eagles first-round selection Derek Barnett off waivers on Monday, according to a number of reports.
After playing his first six NFL seasons in Philadelphia, Barnett was dismissed by the Eagles on Friday. He owns a Super Bowl ring and was selected with the 14th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
The Texans attempted to trade for Barnett before the deadline but were unable to come to an agreement with Eagles general manager Howie Roseman, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
