‘HARD-PRESSED’ DEC 13 Defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins (high ankle sprain), who did not practice today, is not expected to play at Buffalo on Sunday, according to Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy’s repeated statement on Wednesday.

McCarthy stated, “He’ll be hard-pressed to go this week.”

It also means that Mazi Smith, a rookie selected in the first round, will likely see more playing time, while Carl Davis, 31, will probably be called up to the practice squad.
