sad news;new york jets coach has been sacked

Awkward Response to Sad Stat About Zach Wilson’s StrugglesFair to wonder if Robert Saleh will ever figure things out as Jets coach

The Jets’ Sunday performance against the Bills was terrible; they lost 32–6 to their division rivals in a game that was somehow more sad than the scoreboard at the end.

Zach Wilson, the quarterback, was still having trouble running the ball, passing the ball, and even getting onto the field.

Wilson had completed only seven of his fifteen passes by the end of the third struggled and had been sacked five times. After deciding that he had had enough, head coach Robert Saleh benched Wilson in favor of backup Tim Boyle, who struggled against the Bills but at least provided some variety.

Saleh was faced with some difficult questions on his offensive following the game. Wilson did not complete a ball to a wide receiver during the whole game, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.

“How is that even possible?” Cimini enquired.

Saleh struggled to find words.

“I am at a loss for words.”

In fact, of Wilson’s seven completions, tight ends Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert each received one, and running back Breece Hall received five. Although wide receiver Allen Lazard did manage to collect one of Wilson’s throws at one point, the completion was void since the action was halted due to a penalty.

With a 4–6 record, the Jets are currently well out of the AFC postseason race. With the offense averaging less than 10 points per game over the last four games, they are in desperate need of a spark.
