In a lengthy Pittsburgh injury report, Kenny Pickett of the Steelers is classified as fully participating.
According to Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, quarterback Kenny Pickett of the Pittsburgh Steelers was listed as a full participant on the team’s extensive injury report:
For the first time since his ankle surgery, Kenny Pickett is listed as a full practice participant by the Steelers today. Trenton Thompson (neck), Cam Heyward (groin), Isaac Seumalo (shoulder), and Najee Harris (knee) all had limited roles. Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee) and Elandon Roberts (pec) are still DNPs.
Pickett’s status for Pittsburgh’s game against the Seattle Seahawks last weekend was labeled as questionable.
Though Pickett flatly refuted such reports this week, there were reports that he declined to suit up for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks as Mason Rudolph’s backup.
According to ESPN’s Brooke Pryor, Kenny Pickett stated, “It was either I was going to start and play.” “Or I was going to be the three and not dress if they didn’t think I was healthy enough to do that.”
After undergoing TightRope surgery on December 4 and being cleared to play last week, Pickett announced that he will start this week as the No. 2 player against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday.
In a pivotal game on Saturday against the Ravens, the Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph is still on a roll.
In his 12 games with the Steelers, Pickett has passed for 2,070 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions. In2022, he also concluded with somewhat comparable stats during his debut campaign.
Along with playing in 12 games in the 22 season, Pickett gained 2,404 yards and seven touchdowns via the air but was intercepted nine times.
Only one week after referee Brad Allen controversially missed a crucial call during the Dallas Cowboys’ Week 17 victory over the Detroit Lions, the NFL has somehow determined that he will surprise officiate the Week 18 primetime Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game.
“Referee Brad Allen and his team have been assigned to Saturday’s Steelers-Ravens game on ESPN. They last officiated the Lions-Cowboys game on Saturday night. Adam Schefter of ESPN Insider said on Tuesday, “so back on national television.”
