Patriots-Packers preseason game ended early after injury to Isaiah Bolden – The Denver Post

The 2023 NFL regular season is almost over and Week 18 is almost upon us. With that in mind, there are a ton of playoff scenarios in play this week. One of the most intriguing has to do with the Green Bay Packers, who are facing a win-and-in situation at Lambeau Field against the arch-rival Chicago Bears.

No rivalry game is an easy win across the NFL. The game must be played, regardless of which team is better on paper.

For the Packers, this is a major test. After starting off the season rough, Jordan Love and company rebounded strong in the second half of the season. They have fought hard to get back into playoff contention, but now they must finish things out.

One of the big questions for the Packers has to do with the injury report. Most notably, the wide receiver position has been banged up of late. Christian Watson and Jayden Reed are both pieces that Green Bay hopes to have back on the field against Chicago.

Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed Reveals Huge Injury Update On Himself

Reed has arguably been the Packers’ best weapon throughout the 2023 season thus far. He has shown flashes of being a legitimate star at the wide receiver position. However, he left the Packers’ Week 17 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings after the first half with a chest injury and didn’t return.

All week, fans have been wondering about Reed’s status. Reed has given us an update on himself.

“Everything was fine. Went in and got the X-rays, scanned and everything was good … I feel pretty good.”

This is massive news for the Packers’ chances to get into the playoffs with a win over the Bears.

So far this season, Reed has played in 15 games. He has caught 60 passes for 681 yards and eight touchdowns. In addition to his receiving numbers, he has picked up 119 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Expect to see Jayden Reed on the field for the Packers this week. This is a huge update for Green Bay and hopefully more good injury news will follow on other players.
