Jim Harbaugh May Sign a Contract With The Bolts Next Week

After the season, the Los Angeles Chargers will search for a new head coach. The good news is that Sunday marks the end of the Bolts’ season. They have a matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs that is solely for pride. Even though the Bolts have said they will conduct a “wide-ranging” search for their next GM and HC, it’s possible that they already have a candidate in mind. Jim Harbaugh, the head coach of Michigan at the moment, is the clear favorite to take over as head coach of the Chargers, according to oddsmakers.

It’s interesting to note that Harbaugh has reportedly already had discussions with the Chargers management, but those reports haven’t been verified. Harbaugh is not a DC, OC, or HC of a professional team, so the rules about talking to him before the end of the playoffs are not applicable. Harbaugh might have already spoken to someone in the Chargers camp, which is why he has hired an agent that represents players and coaches in the NFL. Harbaugh did come out and state that he would not be making a decision on his future until after the CFP Championship game takes place. Michigan will face off against Washington on January 10. This could mean that Harbaugh will collect himself and make an announcement by Jan 14, which is the end of next week.
