Eli Holstein, formerly of Alabama, has announced his transfer destination.
Former Alabama freshman quarterback Eli Holstein announced Sunday that he’s committed to transfer to
Pittsburgh.
Holstein was one of 15 Crimson Tide players to jump into the transfer portal since its opening on Dec. 4. He is now one of six to have announced a new destination.
Holstein spent this past season as Alabama’s fifth quarterback. The Louisiana native was considered a 4-star recruit and the No. 149 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to 247Sports. He was one of two 2023 quarterbacks to sign with Alabama, along with Dylan Lonergan.

Pittsburgh went 3-9 overall this past season, including a 2-6 mark against ACC opponents.
