The widely anticipated move, reported by various local Dallas outlets, followed a 45-7 pounding by the Green Bay Packers on Sunday that dropped the NFC East team to 1-7 in the season.

Hamlin collapsed during the Buffalo Bills’ match with the Cincinnati Bengals after an innocuous collision with receiver Tee Higgins during the first quarter.
Earlier the Hamlin family expressed their “sincere gratitude for the love and support” shown to him during “this challenging time” and thanked the first responders and hospital staff in Cincinnati.
They said: “We are deeply moved by the prayers, kind words and donations from fans around the country.”
The awful incident occurred when Hamlin attempted to tackle Higgins. Although he returned to his feet after the impact, Hamlin then collapsed on his back.
Emergency medical staff gave him CPR and oxygen on the field, with a number of players visibly distressed. Hamlin was later driven off the pitch in an ambulance.
