According to reports, Chelsea have submitted a mammoth £52 million bid for a Portuguese starlet recently – however, it seems this transfer saga may not have a happy ending for Mauricio Pochettino’s men. Meanwhile, in terms of outgoings, an academy prospect could leave Stamford Bridge to join another London club in January for a fee of around £25 million.

This is according to a report from A Bola, who also mentioned that Manchester United are interested in the 20-year-old. Nevertheless, the report states that a move away from Benfica in January ‘will be very unlikely’ for Silva.
