Phoenix: LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers will play the Phoenix Suns later tonight at Crypto.com Arena.

James had an ankle issue and was initially classified as doubtful.

James is topping all players in the Western Conference in the fan vote for the NBA All-Star game in 2024 with an average of 25.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game.

James has played through the designation without any issues for the previous nine games, per numberFire.

Though he will play, Anthony Davis (left ankle sprain/bone bruise) was also listed on Los Angeles’ injury report. Cam Reddish (facial laceration) joined James as a questionable addition, though he will still play.

Gabe Vincent (left knee surgery) and Rui Hachimura (left calf strain) are both out.

The Suns had some positive news when head coach Frank Vogel disclosed Eric

nthony Davis (left ankle sprain/bone bruise) was also on L.A.’s injury report but will play. Joining James as questionable was Cam Reddish (facial laceration) though he will play as well.

Rui Hachimura (left calf strain) is out alongside Gabe Vincent (left knee surgery).

As for the Suns, they got relatively good news when head coach Frank Vogel revealed Eric Gordon (knee), Udoka A

Phoenix’s initially had only player listed on the injury report was Damion Lee, who had meniscus surgery ahead of training camp. He and Drew Eubanks (illness, revealed just ahead of game time) are out.

Los Angeles is 19-19 while Phoenix is 18-19 on the year, as both are underperforming as we approach the halfway point of the season.

The Lakers have won the previous three matchups this season.
