That’s the whole point about the Chargers. They need a culture reset and Harbaugh is the guy to do that. Him and Herbert together will bring in the fans and a winning culture

I’ll say this: if we are offering 1/2 a million for players to play college, I’m done. Love my Wolverines. But if this is the world that openly exists I’m out. Give Reggie Bush his Heisman back. Apologize for give any school the death penalty for past recruiting violations. This is not collegiate sports. This professional football.

So wait advanced scouting we should shut the program down but offering kids NIL when they are not in the portal is ok?? What a joke the NCAA is.

I don’t want Jim to leave but Michigan may be better off to have a coach that does not have one foot in and one foot out every year. It is obvious that something needs to happen with recruiting and his one foot out has been terrible with recruiting. No reason to have the last 3 classes ranked in the mid teens. They should have been crushing it like Georgia. Good luck to Jim and hopefully Sherone can lead the team onward.

I hold no resentment over this decision if Jim does decide to go to the NFL. He stuck it out with UM and the fans through very tough seasons and losses. He brought back the National title to Ann Arbor, he accomplished what he set out to do.

I’ll be bummed if he leaves. I’m thankful for what he’s done for the program, but annoyed on how half in half out hes been every offseason. Will always love the guy though.

If Jim leaves, Im not wasting any of my money on this school or program until Warde Manuel is fired. Warde is the biggest problem.

If he goes to LA and gets a super bowl win with a franchise that has never won one that would make him a goat!

Hate to see Jim leave, but its hangs over our head every season. Give the job to Moore and see how wins and recruiting go. And those who stay….you know the rest. BOSA AND GO BLUE

It doesn’t sound like it is Harbaugh, sounds like it is Warde Manuel that is messing this up. Doesn’t sound like Harbaugh trusts Manuel. If he leaves, thank you coach. Hope you don’t leave, but thank you for everything if you do.

Nick Saban warned 5 years ago about the damage to the college game that the nil and transfer portal would bring. I think he left in part because he had it with that stuff

In my opinion, the elephant in the room is the fact that Sherone Moore is not the most qualified person to be Michigan’s head coach. I LOVE Sherone but can we all agree that there are older, more experienced coaches out there that would love an opportunity to coach U of M?

I wouldn’t be shocked if he leaves, but Yoder has been wrong a lot. I’ll take the wait and see approach. He knew this headline would get clicks.

James Yoder’s Sources on the NIL tampering of Will Johnson and Donovan Edwards: Here’s how they’re doing it… they get a visit or commitment from a lesser player, and ask about a big star – and ask the player to relay the message.

I know we are talking about Harbaugh but I want to thank the players, coaches, and program for this 3 year run. Such great memories in such a crappy time during COVID and coming out of it. Let the chips fall where they may and wish the best for those who stay.

When JJ opted for the NFL draft I figured the writing was on the wall for Harbaugh. Also, it disappoints me that Michigan wouldn’t protect Harbaugh if the NCAA came down on him. I also think Ward Manuel had a lot to do with that decision. I think Jesse Minter goes with Harbaugh and possibly a few others.

The fact he never got too recruit on an elite level because of this BS the past few years pisses me off a lot. I get it though its pretty hard too recruit with the restrictions but we were just finally cracking the top 10 and he starts this NFL BS

Please, just imagine for a moment. Coach Harbaugh is just looking to keep his job (job security). And instead of AD Warde Manuel “getting to work on this mans contract,” Coach Harbaugh has to leave Michigan because Warde Manuel will not be loyal and grant Coach Harbaugh (whom just helped Michigan win a National Championship) a contract that protects Coach Harbaugh from 4 year old charges from the NCAA after being suspended 6 of the 15 game season…Michigan Wolverines Football will lose its head football coach because AD Warde Manuel doesnt like Coach Jim Harbaugh. Warde Manuel….FIRE YOURSELF.

I’m not worried. I won’t believe he’s leaving until I hear the words from his mouth. I still think he’s waiting to get what he want s in his contract from Michigan. If he does t get that then he’ll leave.
