Brazilian team Botafogo is in the lead in the competition to sign 23-year-old Luiz Henrique, who is being pursued by Everton and Fulham.
Football Insider has reported that Botafogo is getting close to signing Luiz Henrique. Soon, the Brazilian team might finish acquiring the 23-year-old. In the competition for the Real Betis forward, they are all set to defeat Fulham and Everton of the Premier League.

Henrique participated in the Fluminense youth system and was a member of their inaugural squad in 2020. The 23-year-old right winger was eventually signed by Real Betis following two years of first-team football in Brazil. In 63 games since moving to Spain, he has made appearances and provided four goals and ten assists.

Despite getting little playing time in his 20 appearances this season, he has still managed to put up some outstanding displays and contribute four goals to the score. England has expressed interest in him after seeing his outstanding achievements.

Two teams that have expressed interest in the 23-year-old forward’s services are Fulham and Everton. In an effort to strengthen their assault before the window closes on February 1st, they are prepared to fight it out for his signatures.

The Liverpool-based team is struggling to stay in the English premier league after being docked ten points early in the year. Additionally, the Toffees are searching for a new forward because they haven’t been playing at their best lately.

With an eight-point cushion, the Cottagers are now ranked thirteenth in the points standings. Henrique might be a terrific addition, but they need to keep winning if they want to avoid the relegation zone.

However, it appears that the two Premier League teams are content to pass on the Brazilian winger. Before the transfer window closes, he is scheduled to return to Brazil because Botafago is expected to sign a long-term contract with the Spanish team. After that, the Brazilian team will loan him to Lyon, a team in Ligue 1. This agreement was facilitated by American millionaire John Textor, who also owns Lyon, Botafago, and Crystal Palace.
