This week, Brighton & Hove Albion will keep negotiating to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, a midfielder for Leicester City.

Although the Seagulls are not known for making large purchases during the January transfer window, they are making every effort to sign their top target by Thursday’s transfer deadline.

The 25-year-old great midfielder is reportedly being offered £20 million by Brighton, but Leicester values him at approximately £30 million.

For the past few seasons, Dewsbury-Hall has been one of Leicester’s top players. In the Championship this year, he has an extremely amazing nine goals and nine assists from center midfield.

Although Newcastle and Arsenal have expressed interest, it seems the Seagulls have jumped ahead and will attempt to complete the transfer this week.

Roberto De Zerbi’s team would benefit greatly from his arrival as they get ready for the second half of the season. The Italian has led Brighton to seventh place in the Premier League, into the Europa League playoffs, and to the fifth round of the FA Cup after a convincing 5-2 victory over Sheffield United last Saturday, despite the team’s history of ailments.

A midfield still attempting to adjust to the departures of Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister, who moved to Chelsea and Liverpool, respectively, last summer, would benefit greatly from the arrival of Dewsbury-Hall to Brighton.

The Sophisticated Even if Pascal Gross is still very good, it is unrealistic to expect the 32-year-old German to keep up this level of work. This term, Billy Gilmour has also grown nicely, and Jakub Moder’s return is a welcome addition. While Mo Dahoud, who signed on a free transfer last summer, has struggled in the Premier League and has recently drawn criticism from De Zerbi, summer addition Carlos Baleba, 20, is a raw talent who needs time.
