Ryan Tannehill May Not Be able to win the Super Bowl….
Ryan Tannehill of the Tennessee Titans did not fare well in a recent piece that graded
starting quarterbacks throughout the league based on the opinions of fifty anonymous NFL
executives and coaches.
Tannehill received some criticism from those surveyed in addition to being ranked No. 23
and being in tier 3 of The Athletic’s yearly ranking.
A voter commented, “Tannehill is at a critical juncture where his replacements are already
on the roster. The level of play would have to be so high that meeting those expectations
seems almost unfair. If he were to be the starter in Tennessee a year from now,” Ryan is a
reliable starter that needs to be controlled to
avoid the major mistakes, but is frequently the outcome of playing defense and skill
positions well. No team led by Ryan Tannehill can win the Super Bowl.
“Because of his restricted range of motion, he is more susceptible to strikes, and his career
is resembling that of Ryan Fitzpatrick, as he struggles to hold onto his position among
younger and more experimental players.”
There have been many worse quarterbacks to win a Super Bowl than Ryan Tannehill, in
response to the claim that “a Tannehill-led team can’t win one.”
Even still, it’s difficult to refute the assertion considering the difficulties he has had in the
postseason throughout his time in Tennessee, especially with the disastrous game against
the Cincinnati Bengals still fresh in our minds.
And because of those setbacks, the Titans are anticipating their quarterback situation going
forward, having selected two quarterbacks in the previous two years. I would concur that
Tannehill needs to put in a lot of work if he is to remain in his position into 2023—and by a
lot, I mean winning a Super Bowl.
On the other hand, Tannehill scarcely qualifies as someone with “limited mobility,” to put it
more briefly. He’s actually at least above average in that regard, and one of his best qualities as a runner is his toughness.
once taking over a dismal club in 2019, Tannehill has unquestionably brought a spark to
this one, and even once his time in Nashville is over, we will always be grateful for that.
..
It’s also irreversible that he hasn’t been able to lead the Titans to the promised land; he’ll
probably only get one more chance to accomplish this.
