Warriors star Stephen Curry makes Super Bowl 58 pick between 49ers and Chiefs

Warriors share special Super Bowl 58 good luck message for 49ers after 76ers takedown

The 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, the defending NFL champions, will square off in Super Bowl 58 on February 11. Tuesday night, the 49ers’ talents Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle adorned Chase Center as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 119-107 behind 37 points from Stephen Curry and eight three-pointers.

The four-time NBA champion was questioned about his choice between the 49ers and Chiefs for Super Bowl 58 following the Warriors’ victory over the 76ers. Although Curry supports his hometown team to win the Vince Lombardi trophy in the Bay Area, he wouldn’t be upset if Kansas City won two straight games.

“I mean obviously, being here, you love to see the Niners get it done,” Curry said. “I do love Mahomes and Kelce. We got to play golf with them this summer. I see them in Tahoe every year, so we have a pretty good relationship. In my household, this is a win-win kind of vibe. But obviously… the hometown team.”

So, which is it, Steph?

It is understandable why the Warriors superstar can’t fully pick a side. The hometown roots with San Francisco is obvious. But as the two-time MVP mentioned, he shares a bond with the Chiefs’ franchise stars.
