LONDON, February 2 — Shortly after the transfer market closed on Friday, the Premier League clubs announced that Chelsea attacker Armando Broja had signed a loan deal with Fulham that would run until the end of the season.
The deal’s financials were not made public, but according to British media, Fulham paid Chelsea about £4 million (US$5.10 million) for the 22-year-old.

Due to injuries, Broja only made a few starts this season, but he still managed to make 19 appearances. Against Fulham in October, he scored his sole Premier League goal, and this month, against Preston North End in the FA Cup third round, he scored another.
Last month, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino stated that the striker would be crucial to his team’s success while Nicolas Jackson was away at the Africa Cup of Nations with the Senegal team.
