Leslie Frazier is rejoining the NFL as a coach for a new franchise

Leslie Frazier, a veteran NFL coach, is making a comeback to the league with a new team after a year away.

Frazier will join the Seattle Seahawks as an assistant coach, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. With the transfer, Frazier is reunited with Mike Macdonald, the new coach of the Seahawks, who regards Frazier as a mentor.

From 2010 to 2013, Frazier, a veteran defensive coordinator, led the Minnesota Vikings as head coach. His most recent position was as defensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, where he received high praise for his efforts. After the 2022 season, he departed the squad to go on a one-year hiatus.

Although Frazier continues to draw interest from head coaches on occasion, for the time being he will give Macdonald invaluable experience as a first-time head coach. It’s also said that the team is pursuing a few elite candidates for offensive coordinator.

Regarding Bill Belichick, Tom Brady’s father had some sobering remarks for an article that appeared in The Boston Globe on Wednesday.

For the report, Christopher L. Gasper of The Globe spoke with Tom Brady Sr. According to the narrative, Belichick, who left the New England Patriots last month after 24 seasons as head coach, had Brady Sr.’s backing.

The widely held belief that Brady Sr.’s son, not Belichick, is to blame for the Patriots’ success is unjust, according to Brady Sr.

“Bill is without a doubt the best football coach,” remarked Brady Sr. of Belichick.

Despite calling Belichick “great” and “the best coach in football,” Brady Sr. acknowledged the 71-year-old’s flaws.

“Bill is a tough guy,” Brady Sr. stated. “He”

maintains a military structure. The generation is different now. Bill is an absolutely fantastic coach. But he has terrible people skills. That is the essential point.

Brady Sr. said that Belichick’s conceit prevented him from achieving greater success. Brady Sr. believes Belichick sought to demonstrate that he could win without Tom as quarterback, even though the coach’s initial assessment of his ability to do so was far off.

Belichick was a contender to become the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, but the team opted not to provide the veteran coach complete command over the football operations. Instead, they employed Rams player Raheem Morris. Brady and Belichick may now appear on television in 2024.

It has been widely anticipated that Jay Harbaugh, the son of newly hired Los Angeles Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh, will join his father’s coaching staff on the AFC West squad. A report suggests that may not be the case after all.

It was reported on Friday by Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports that Jay Harbaugh’s hire by the Chargers is not finalized. According to Zenitz, the Seattle Seahawks are considering employing him as well.

In 2021, when both were on the Wolverines’ staff, Harbaugh collaborated with Mike Macdonald, the new head coach of the Seahawks.
