However, fate decided to toss Stetson a cruel curveball right as we believed he was ready to use his gridiron magic in the NFL. Stetson Bennett: what happened to him?
Stetson Bennett was placed on the reserve/non-football sickness list, according to Rams head coach Sean McVay’s announcement on September 13, 2023. Sean disclosed that he had a conversation with Stetson prior to the quarterback’s placement, even if the coach refrained from disclosing the precise reasoning behind it.
So, hold off on drawing any conclusions just yet! Right away, Sean corrected the record, telling the media that this action had nothing to do with Stetson’s shoulder ailment that he was nursing prior to the 2023 regular season.
“I’m going to keep all of those specifics and details within because I respect him and the circumstances. Out of respect for that circumstance, I would like to be allowed to do that,” stated Sean McVay.
“I really won’t be providing any follow-up information or anything in that area. That’s all I have to say, and I sincerely hope you will honor my request to keep that confidential. Sean went on, “I know you have a job to do, but there are other things that are far greater and more vital. “Out of respect for the particulars and the specifics, want to be able to keep it in-house, and that’s where I’d like to leave it, please.”
