Fantasy  hired a new coach because of …..Head Coach Hires: 2023 Fantasy Football Impact - FantraxHQ

The last NFL head coaching position has been filled, as of Thursday, when it was announced that the Washington Commanders had agreed to terms to employ Dan Quinn.

Quinn takes over for Ron Rivera, who was sacked by new team owner Josh Harris following Washington’s 4-13 season in 2023. Rivera went 26-40-1 with one postseason trip (a loss) in four seasons.

Quinn is the new head coach for the 2024 season, joining Brian Callahan of the Tennessee Titans, Dave Canales of the Carolina Panthers, Jim Harbaugh of the Los Angeles Chargers, Mike Macdonald of the Seattle Seahawks, Jerod Mayo of the New England Patriots, Raheem Morris of the Atlanta Falcons, and Antonio Pierce of the Las Vegas Raiders.

These are the main lessons learned during the hiring cycle this year.

Mike Vrabel and Bill Belichick were left out
The two most well-known coaches available, Belichick and Vrabel, were passed over by teams.

With 333 career victories with the Patriots and six Super Bowl rings, Belichick is a living legend. However, only one team shown genuine interest in him—the Falcons, who hosted him for an in-person interview. After six seasons coaching the Titans, Vrabel went 54-45 with three postseason appearances. He conducted interviews with the Falcons, Panthers, and Chargers. The coaches’ aspirations to have significant influence, if not complete control, over roster selections probably contributed to teams choosing to go elsewhere.

Therefore, Belichick might have to wait a year to get back to his    chase of the 347-win record held by Don Shula. Additionally, Vrabel might have to wait a year before returning to coaching if he isn’t offered or isn’t willing to accept a position as defensive coordinator.
