Jasson Domínguez’s Surprising Update From Yankees Manager Aaron Boone
The New York Yankees are in a stronger position already, but when summer arrives, they should get even better. Jasson Domínguez, an excellent prospect for the Yankees, made an impressive debut in the major leagues during the previous season. Although he only had a brief tenure with the team, he excelled there, but he had to have Tommy John surgery due to an elbow injury. According to SNY’s John Healy, Yankees manager Aaron Boone provided a very encouraging update on him despite the fact that he would miss a large portion of the 2024 season.
“Domínguez is still recovering from undergoing Tommy John surgery on his right elbow last September and will likely not be ready until later in the season, but manager Aaron Boone certainly sounds optimistic about the progress he is making,” Healy stated. According to Healy’s transcription, Boone said, “He’s doing really well,” on The el MichaKay Show on Thursday. “(He is) in excellent health. On Wednesday, he turned an incredible 21 years old. It’s wonderful to have him back.He is putting in a lot of effort at work. He’ll be returning for us again in the summer. I have faith in that. Boone also mentioned that Dominguez will start throwing in a week or two.” Domínguez will undoubtedly benefit the Yankees if he can get back on the field as soon as possible. New Yorkhas grown during the offseason, but adding Domínguez back to the mix can only be more beneficial.
The Yankees have made some excellent offseason additions, but it would be much better if Domínguez could get back to action sooner rather than later.
