Eminem has always been an ardent Detroit Lions supporter. The hip-hop and rap artist is well aware of the Lions’ lackluster playoff performance.

Since 1991, the Lions have failed to win a postseason game. On Sunday, they will get another chance when they host the Los Angeles Rams in a Wild Card playoff game. Eminem is fervently hoping that the Lions triumph and end the postseason drought. When the Lions defeated the Dallas Cowboys 38-6 in the divisional playoff game, Eminem was fifteen years old. They had only won once in the playoffs. Eminem is 51 years old now.

In a social media video, Eminem begs Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, a former Lion, to allow the Lions to win because he is so desperate for the team to win.

“Stuart, what did I say? Eminem said, “You owe me this favor, bro.” “When you won, I was there to support you.” You had my support. Yes, I was there. Stafford, I rapped for you! I rapped for you, bro! Would you please just give this one to us? Only this particular one.

“When you won, I was there to support you. Stafford, I rapped for you.”All @Eminem is asking of Matthew Stafford is a small favor.

Stafford was chosen by the Lions with the first overall choice in the 2009 NFL Draft. Before being traded to the Rams in exchange for quarterback Jared Goff and three 2021 selection picks, Stafford was a member of the team for 12 years. It will be the first time in playoff history that both starting quarterbacks will be playing their old teams at the same time when Stafford and Goff square up on Sunday.

Even though Eminem and Stafford are friends, they will put their friendship on hold for the duration of the game. Stafford will undoubtedly make an effort to win the game.
