ESPN Shares Scouting Opinions on Joe Milton III
Joe Milton III, the quarterback for Tennessee, had a successful senior year in Knoxville. Milton managed to put together a successful season and produced clutch throws for the Vols over the season, despite the fact that he failed to refute all the rumors about his accuracy issues. Despite having a difficult game in real life, he looked excellent during sessions in the Reese’s Senior Bowl. Milton’s narrative has always been the same: extraordinary physical ability mixed with inadequate delivery. Through the Senior Bowl, ESPN was able to get a close-up look at Milton, and they also spoke with many NFL scouts about their opinions of Milton before the draft. “He throws everything with the same speed, but he misses a few easy completions.”One AFC South scout who seen Milton play many times at Tennessee stated as much. However, according to a survey of evaluators, Milton’s arm strength and physical size would be sufficient for a team to choose him on Day 3. In his final season, Milton completed 64.7% of his passes for 20 touchdowns and five interceptions.” Joe Milton III on ESPN
