McDaniels is gone, and now Jimmy G is likely the next to leave
In 2023, Josh McDaniels married Jimmy Garoppolo. Jimmy G will most likely be the next player to depart the Las Vegas Raiders this summer after McDaniels. The only quarterbacks remaining on the Raiders roster are 38-year-old Brian Hoyer and Aidan O’Connell, a fourth-round selection selected in the second year.

It goes without saying that Las Vegas has to improve at quarterback, and there are several paths the Raiders might pursue. One is free agency, but given the failure of the Garoppolo experiment, it’s likely that the Raiders will concentrate on identifying a long-term answer. One quarterback candidate in particular has been frequently associated with Vegas.
There are strong ties between Jayden Daniels and the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Las Vegas Raiders are said to be searching for a new quarterback this summer, but it won’t be simple given that they have the 13th selection in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, however, believes that Raiders supporters should keep a watch on one potential during the selection process.
Jayden Daniels out of LSU is a name to watch, as I’ve talked to a few teams who have pointed out Antonio Pierce, who was with him at ASU back in the day, loves him. Of course, he went to LSU, won the Heisman, could be a top 3 pick. Raiders pick 13th, so they would have to make a huge jump to get up there and get him, but it’s at least a possibility.”

The Raiders may have to trade with New England if Daniels is their priority target, as Fowler said that the Washington Commanders are likely set on a quarterback at No. 2, with Caleb Williams predicted to be the first overall selection. As you would expect, though, Las Vegas isn’t the only team pondering a significant deal for the Heisman Trophy winner.
Among the other clubs that may be considering a trade up for Daniels are Atlanta at eight, Minnesota at eleven, Denver at twelve, and Las Vegas at thirteen. If not Daniels, other quarterbacks like J.J. McCarthy of Michigan would also be very intriguing.
