Robert Griffin III Thinks Derrick Henry Will Be Signed by the Ravens

CINCINNATI — With Joe Mixon on the roster and several other gaps to fill, the Bengals are among the favorites to sign veteran running back Derrick Henry, but that appears unlikely.

Robert Griffin III of ESPN NFL analyst says the Ravens ought to sign Henry.

“Derrick Henry is a physical player who prepares relentlessly and exhibits a strong desire to play for a championship,” tweeted Griffin. “He can only go in one direction. Derrick Henry already plays like a Baltimore Raven, therefore he ought to be one.

Griffin is accurate. Henry has expressed his desire to join with a team where he can compete for a title. He could wind up playing against the Bengals in the AFC North, so don’t look now.
