The FIA has released remarks that Ford and Formula 1 have released recently.
This week is testing, the off-season is almost over, and there will be a ton of F1 news starting on Monday. Here is a recap of the best of it all.
In honorable mentions, Max Verstappen stated that Adrian Newey is the “only one” in response to a question about whether the Red Bull design guru is irreplaceable, and the FIA is bringing AlphaTauri back to the grid for the next three seasons—but not as a team name.
Here is our selection of the day’s F1 news for Monday, however.
While the Christian Horner inquiry is ongoing, the FIA releases a statement on Red Bull.
The FIA released a statement about the internal investigation into Red Bull team head Christian Horner over claims of inappropriate behavior, which Horner disputes, in response to previous remarks made by Ford and Formula 1.
“Regarding the independent investigation currently being conducted by Red Bull GMbH, the FIA reiterates that we will not be commenting further until the investigation has concluded and the outcome is known,” the statement stated.
“The FIA is still dedicated to keeping the sport’s highest standards of honesty, equity, and inclusivity.”

Max Verstappen will postpone enjoying his 2026 power unit till after the F1 era.
Although Max Verstappen has a contract with Red Bull that runs until 2028, he has expressed his reservations about the significantly altered 2026 power units that will be introduced to the sport on several times.
He expressed concern about the driving experience, which will place a greater emphasis on electrical power than internal combustion, and said, “Yes, possibly,” in response to a question from Germany’s Motorsport-Magazin about whether or not he would continue in Formula 1 past 2028.

“Thrilling” Mercedes W15design examined closely
Based on what we can see of the cars’ exteriors, Romain Grosjean has conducted some preliminary technical analysis of the freshly introduced Formula 1 vehicles on his YouTube channel.
He is in a better position than nearly anybody to remark on how various design options would function in real life having driven several Formula 1 cars, and he was pleased with the way Mercedes’ initial renderings looked.
It is, in my opinion, the most attractive automobile. “I’m happy to see the Silver Arrow returning to the racetrack,” he remarked.
“I think the thing I’m most interested to watch on the track is the car with the Red Bull.” I believe some very audacious actions. On the automobile, some rather audacious choices have been made.
“They chose a relatively narrow entrance in order to maximize flow beneath the sidepods.
However, I’m quite thrilled about that front wing.

Many well-known personalities competed at Le Mans when the 2024 participant list was revealed.
Apart from the existing grid, 16 former Formula 1 racers are listed as entries in the Hypercar class for the June 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The highest division of endurance racing is expanding significantly in this new period; of the 62 cars entered, 23 are in the Hypercar class alone, and Jenson Button, the 2009 World Champion, is one of them.
With several months until the renowned Triple Crown race, several well-known names may also be found on the list in its tentative version. Nyck de Vries, who was dropped by AlphaTauri previous season, has started a factory drive with Toyota.
