JUSTIN: The New Orleans Saints need to address three key issues.

A possible matchup with the Ravens might arise if Alvin Kamara decides to depart the Saints.

After suffering many injuries to JK Dobbins, the Baltimore Ravens have resorted to using a running back by committee. However, the New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara might be a viable option for the Ravens to add some flare to their run game.

According to betonline.ag, Baltimore is the frontrunner (+300) to be Kamara’s next squad if he decides not to play for the Saints. The other three teams in the top four are the Kansas City Chiefs (+700), Buffalo Bills (+600), and Dallas Cowboys (+400).

The Saints have Kamara under contract through 2026. In order to add the running back to the roster, the Ravens would need to make a trade for him, barring an unexpected release. Kamara might be a valuable addition to New Orleans’ attack as they aim for a postseason berth. Despite being $83 million above the threshold, they have the least amount of cap room in the league. A deal would restore important draft capital while easing some of the cap burden.

Alvin Kamara, though, would stand in for that new primary running back for the Ravens. In the league since 2017, Kamara has amassed 5,829 yards and 54 touchdowns by running. Through the air, he has gained an additional 4,219 yards and 23 touchdowns. In 2017, Kamara was named Offensive Rookie of the Year and has since

Although JK Dobbins has shown flashes of brilliance, injuries have prevented him from landing the main part. After Dobbins was injured, Gus Edwards took over, but the running back is now scheduled to become a free agent.

The greatest running option for the Ravens has been Lamar Jackson. With Kamara in the same backfield, Baltimore’s attack may be even more frightening.
