UCLA is set to enter the foreign,

Next year, UCLA will go to the strange, wintry, and awfully Midwest to play in the Big Ten. Even though the Bruins have some historical ties to many of these teams, it will still be a big adjustment for UCLA to go from the cozy familiarity of, say, playing Washington State virtually every year to the strange and, to be honest, somewhat terrifying prospect of having to play Iowa frequently. What happens if you play for Iowa and get covered in Iowa football? It is impossible to tidy up such a mess.

In an attempt to address some of the trickier Big Ten inquiries (such as “Is Minnesota a state or a city?” Are there any differences between the I-states? We thought it would be beneficial to put up a program introduction for each of the prospective Big Ten opponents for the Bruins (are there any other places except Chicago?).

Our prior journeys:

Although Iowa remains outside of the NCAA Tournament, a victory over Northwestern on Saturday at 4:30 PM CT on the Big Ten Network in Evanston could help the Hawkeyes’ status.

The Wildcats are coming off a road victory against Maryland, while Iowa is coming off a victory over Penn State at home.

Iowa is rated as the “next four out” in a number of NCAA Tournament predictions, with a record of 17-12 overall and 9-9 in Big Ten play. Despite being ranked eighth in the Bracket Matrix, the Wildcats are still vying for a spot in the Big Ten Tournament and would want to avoid losing at home.

In conference play, Northwestern is unbeaten at home, while Iowa is 3-6 away from home in Big Ten play.

Let’s get started with the match.

The Hawkeye supporters will be feeling very sentimental on Sunday afternoon. For Caitlin Clark, Gabbie Marshall, Molly Davis, and Kate Martin, it will be their last regular-season game ever. They have all contributed to the Hawkeye program reaching previously unheard-of heights.

Iowa City, Iowa The Hawkeye supporters will be feeling very sentimental on Sunday afternoon. For Caitlin Clark, Gabbie Marshall, Molly Davis, and Kate Martin, it will be their last regular-season game ever. They have all contributed to the Hawkeye program to previously unheard-of heights, which includes a trip to the 2023 National Championship. Let’s discuss how to watch the game, game notes, and College Gameday procedures ahead of time.

History of the Series:

The two programs will meet for the 76th time on this occasion. In the all-time series, Ohio State is up 40–36. Iowa is ahead 22–11 at home. Iowa lost 100-92 in overtime to Ohio State earlier in the season. Iowa achieved their highest-ranked road victory in school history last season.83-72 versus Ohio State, the #2 team.

On Senior Day, Caitlin Clark, Molly Davis, Sharon Goodman, Gabbie Marshall, and Kate Martin—five distinguished Hawkeyes—will walk. After the game, the seniors will get recognition.

In Ohio State’s final home game of the regular season, on Wednesday, the team trounced Michigan (17-12, 8-9 B1G) by a score of 67-51 to win the Big Ten regular season championship hands-down.

The second-longest winning streak in program history, which OSU is now enjoying in Big Ten play, is only surpassed by the 1984–85 season, during which the Buckeyes went an undefeated 18–0. For the first time since the 2009–10 campaign, Ohio State is the clear winner of the Big Ten regular season.

Pete Maravich, the all-time NCAA men’s basketball leader, is 18 points away from being surpassed by Clark.

Gabbie Marshall (120) and Kate Martin (117) rank third and fourth nationally, respectively, for the most active victories in a career among current players who did not transfer.

Since February 9, 2022, Iowa’s record in Big Ten Conference play is 40-6. When Clark scores forty points or more, Iowa is 8-4. When Clark records a triple-double, Iowa leads 17-0. Clark has 25+ points, 5+ assists, and 5+ rebounds in 61 career games. (Best of NCAA).

In men’s or women’s college basketball over the past 25 seasons, no player has scored more than 30 points in a game than Clark. (54).
