charger:Mark Henry discusses what he would have preferred to see on WWE SmackDown from Seth Rollins.
The tension between Cody Rhodes and members of the Bloodline, The Rock and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, intensifies as WrestleMania 40 approaches. Rhodes will compete against Reigns in a tag match on Night One and then challenge him for the championship on Night Two. However, almost as much has been said about Seth Rollins, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Rhodes’ partner on Night One, who many have believed has frequently been treated like a fourth character in the narrative.
This is the case for Mark Henry of AEW, particularly following this past Friday’s “SmackDown,” when Rollins took a lot of flak from both Rock and Reigns—the latter even making reference to Rollins—on the show.Calling Rollins a “crossdresser.” Henry discussed what he would have hoped to see Rollins do to counter Reigns, and especially Rock, on the mic during Monday’s episode of “Busted Open Radio.”
“I wish Seth had been a little more descriptive in his mid-life crisis thing,” observed Henry. “You’re pushing, like ‘Rock, and you’ve crossed the half-century mark. To seem nice to the younger fan base and to maintain your cool, you need your flashy automobile and that costly mess. Since we already are that, we don’t need it. We chat about my wardrobe—this is designer, as you can see. Given that he’s been receiving a lot of criticism over his outfit, he had the opportunity to address it and defend himself there. I simply felt that he could have made a little more of an impression there.”
